Edson is a co-owner of Eastside Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic. He has been a physiotherapist for 20+ years. He graduated in his home country of Colombia in 1995 and followed that with a Masters in Critical Care and Exercise Prescription in 2002, the year he immigrated to Canada. Always interested in furthering his knowledge, he went to Perth, Australia to study Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation at Curtin University. Currently, Edson is working towards certification in the treatment of vertigo using physiotherapy.

He is a certified medical classifier for Para-rowing Canada. This ability to analyze and critique the movements of a performance athlete transfers to all his patients. He can easily diagnose musculoskeletal (muscles and bones) injuries and design an effective rehabilitation plan.

Debbie is the co-owner of Eastside Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic. She has been practicing physiotherapy for over 30 years. Originally from London, England, where she received her training, she practiced there before moving to Jersey, Channel Islands. Deborah then immigrated to Canada, where she worked in private practice before running her own clinic.

Well practiced at diagnosing and treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal (muscle and bones) disorders of all ages, she is experienced in the field of pain management. She is adept with electrical and manual therapy as well as exercise therapy. She has a long-standing relationship with Worksafe BC, I.C.B.C., and M.S.P.

It’s Debbie’s nature to build nurturing relationships with each one of her clients and feel genuine enthusiasm for their progress.

Lorena completed her physiotherapy accreditation at Manuela Beltran University in Bogota, Colombia in 2012. Prior to coming to Canada, she worked in private practice. Now she is working as a physiotherapist’s assistant while studying for her license to practice in Canada. Perceptive and comprehensive, Lorena is also studying business administration at B.C.I.T.

Lorena has a particular interest in sports, having qualified as a personal trainer. She concentrates on movement and how we participate in our everyday pursuits. This makes it easy for Lorena to critique and work on problems that may arise as the result of routine and athletic activities.

The clinic runs smoothly because of Feon. More than an office manager, she looks after our patients and all the staff. If necessary, she also deals with lawyers, corporations, and associations. She is an administrative wizard, trustworthy, and respectful of your privacy and your health. She’s the one who answers the phone and she’s the first person you’ll see when you come into the clinic. If she can’t answer your questions, she knows exactly who can.

Eva is a registered kinesiologist and a 2007 graduate of UBC. She has been practicing at Eastside Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic since 2008. Her specialties are post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery from traumatic car accidents and work-related injuries.

Eva also has an extensive background in sports. First as an Olympic rhythmic gymnast, then as a professional coach at the provincial, national, and international level. She also leads stretching and conditioning classes with professional ballet dancers. Eva worked as a trainer with Human Performance in North Vancouver helping numerous athletes, including hockey players, tennis players, and figure skaters.

With a passion for performance of all kinds, she loves to see improvement in her patients. It is her goal to make their recovery as pleasant as possible and bring an element of joy into each session.
