Our Team
Eva is a registered kinesiologist with the Kinesiologist’s Association of British Columbia. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2007 and she has been practicing in her field since. She joined the Eastside Physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic in 2008. Eva specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery from traumatic car accidents and work-related injuries.
In addition to her work in rehabilitation, Eva has an extensive background in sports as an Olympic athlete and a professional coach. She worked as a trainer at Human Performance with numerous athletes, including hockey players, tennis players, and figure skaters. She coached rhythmic gymnastics at the provincial, national, and international level and leads stretching and conditioning classes with professional ballet dancers Eva is very passionate about her work, she loves to see improvement in her patients, tries to make their recovery as pleasant as possible and brings an element of joy into each session.

Anand obtained a Bachelors of Physiotherapy degree from India in 2005. He has had10 years of total clinical experience working in multi-specialty hospitals and Private practice. Anand later obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation in Chester, U.K. in 2008.
Anand attended such manual therapy courses as McKenzie (part A & B) and Mulligan’s Concept. His treatment modalities include Manual Therapy and appropriate exercise prescription. among other common techniques.
Anand most enjoys treating Neck, Back and Peripheral Joint injuries.

Deborah is the co-owner and full-time practitioner of physiotherapy at the Eastside Physiotherapy Clinic. Deborah received her qualification with credit as a physiotherapist in London, England. After graduating from the Army School of Physiotherapy, she continued to work in the U.K. in London and Jersey, Channel Islands before immigrating to Canada. Presently, with over 30 years of experience in Private Practice diagnosing and treating acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders of all age groups, Deborah has honed her skills in modalities including electrical, manual and exercise therapy and pain managenemt. Deborah has had a long relationship with Worksafe B.C., I.C.B.C. and M.S.P. She is a member of good standing with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, the Physiotherapy Association of B.C., along with the College of Physical Therapists of B.C.

Edson graduated from Physiotherapy school in 1995 in Colombia, and received his Masters in Critical Care & Exercise Prescription in 2002 – the same year he immigrated to Canada. He completed a course in Manual Therapy & Sports Rehabilitaion at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Edson is also a certified medical classifier for Para-rowing Canada. Edson continues expanding on his almost-20 years of experience and education in the field of Physiotherapy, which makes him very accurate at diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries,and allows him to provide the best rehabilitation treatment for various types of conditions. At present Edson is pursuing an education in the treatment of vertigo.
